Hobby/Subject Matter Decisions Abound

I have spent the last few months in a bit of a haze with regards to my hobby interests and recently had a look at the spreadsheet that I use to keep track of the $$ that I spend on miniatures...

I was a little shocked that after spending a little over $4000 on miniatures in the last 6 months, I have acheived very little in the way of completed, display worthy, painted minis.

This will change. I am going to change this blog from a completed works of Triggazart to a blog of miniature awesomeness.

I decided yesterday after a few weeks of research that if I want to improve my painting to a point where I can happily share photos and experiences, I need to learn from the best. So I spent some extra cash and ordered the "Target Identified - Season 1.1 - Supporter Edition" Painting tutorial DVD pack from a great little miniature painting venture out of Germany, called Painting Buddha. Now to call this a simple painting tutorial may be a massive understatement and after reading many reviews, I can only say that I am very excited to see what this little beauty holds.

I am committing myself to improve my painting skills to a point where I will be happy to post a slather of pictures on here. After being back in the hobby for three years and spending god knows how much money on the little plastic crack that is GW miniatures, I really need to commit to it otherwise there is really no point. So stay tuned and I will be updating this blog more often with tales of painting magic and frustration.

Must resist the urge to buy more miniatures.
